SP Model Casting Call FAQ's
When and where is the SP Casting Call?
Join us at Fox Street Studios in Albion on Tuesday 25th June from 9:00am - 2:00pm AEST. Feel free to arrive at any time during this time. Find us at 2 Fox Street, Albion, QLD, 4010.
What can I expect on the day?
Upon arrival, you'll sign in by providing us with your details and receive your shoot number. When your number has been called, you'll have your headshot and lifestyle photos taken by our talented SP photographer, plus you’ll have the opportunity to film social content with our team—this is your chance to shine and show us your personality!
Please note you may be required to wait before your turn, so we kindly ask for your patience while waiting.
Following the casting call, within the next couple of weeks, you'll receive a copy of your photos via email. If you're selected to model in our upcoming shoot, we will contact you personally with next steps.
What should I wear and what do I need to bring?
Please arrive shoot ready—wear your favourite Sylvia P outfit and style your hair in a neat, clean way that makes you feel confident. No makeup is required, however light, natural makeup is optional—no stage makeup please—we want your natural personality to shine!
How old do I have to be?
We are looking for girls aged 6 to 14 who live and breathe SP!
Do I need prior modelling experience?
No modelling experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome—just bring your enthusiasm and love for gymnastics, dance and Sylvia P!
Do parents have to attend?
Yes, for the safety of all participants, a parent or guardian must accompany children at all times during the event. You might be waiting before your turn—so we kindly ask you to be mindful of our limited space and avoid bringing additional family members or friends.
Will there be parking on-site?
There is no on-site parking, but street parking is available nearby.
Will there be food and drinks available?
A water dispenser will be available on the day, however we strongly suggest you pack your own food and water bottle as there could be a wait time before your turn. The studio is also located close to multiple cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Bathrooms will also be available on site.
How long will I be waiting?
Please be mindful that you might be waiting outside the venue before your turn—we recommend you bring a hat, sunscreen, some warmer clothes if it’s looking cold, and some snacks to stay comfortable while you wait.
I don’t live in Brisbane, can I still attend?
Absolutely! While the casting call and future photoshoots are in Brisbane, you’re welcome to attend at your own expense. If selected for a Sylvia P photoshoot and you live outside Brisbane, please note that travel and accommodation costs will be your responsibility.
I can't attend the event, can I still participate?
Yes, if you can't attend the event, feel free to email our team at info@sylviap.com.au with your name, age, size, and some images of yourself. We'll make sure to consider your submission for future opportunities.
If selected as a model, when will the photoshoot be?
Our next photoshoot is Tuesday, 23rd July. If you’re not selected this time, don’t worry! We have many exciting photoshoots planned in the future.
