It's been one year since Ava Costa, a 14-year-old gymnast faced a life-changing injury during training that left her with limited movement below her point of injury.
In 2023 with your incredible support, we raised over $80k for Ava's recovery through the Walking with Ava Leotard, and since then, Ava has worked incredibly hard on her recovery. Read more on Ava's recovery here.
As Ava continues to defy the odds, we're calling on the gymnastics community once again to join us in supporting her with the release of the new Made for Magic Leotard, aiming to raise even more funds for her recovery.
What is the Made For Magic and Walking With Ava Leotard?
In collaboration and support of Ava and her family, we are proud to announce the new limited edition, Made for Magic Leotard. Also available to purchase is the 2023 Walking With Ava Leotard. Together with Ava, our team created both leotards to incorporate her favourite colours and design elements. When can I order?
Orders are live from Friday 3rd May, 9AM AEST and close Sunday 12th May 11:59PM. Following this, products will be removed from the Sylvia P website and no longer be available to order.
When will you ship my order?
We are making your leotards to order, therefore products will be shipped from the 16th of June. Due to the unknown quantity of the leotards that will be required to be made on top of our current production schedule, production timeframes may take longer than expected and delivery times will vary. Orders will be prioritised in the order that they were placed.
I’ve also ordered an in-stock garment outside the Made For Magic and Walking With Ava Leotard, will this be shipped before my Leotard is ready?
Sorry, but no it won’t. For ease of logistics, we’ll ship all these items together i.e the in-stock garments will be shipped with the Made For Magic or Walking With Ava Leotard on the estimated shipping date above.
I’ve received the garment, but I’d like to return it—can I?
Both leotards are made to order, so these can’t be returned or exchanged for a different size. Please review our sizing guide here prior to ordering. Please review our return policy here.

How much of the proceeds are going to Ava and The Costa Family?
For each garment sold, we will be donating the profits to the Walking With Ava Foundation to support Ava's journey to recovery. A small portion of the garment price will be used by Sylvia P to assist with production costs to ensure that this donation is possible. With the uncertainty of the number of garments that will be sold, we are doing everything possible to support the Costa family and ensure that as much money as possible goes directly to Ava and her family.
